Dietary Restriction

We do not accommodate vegan or vegetarian diets.

We do not provide menus free of seafood, gluten, soy, dairy, alliums, salt, sugar, or sesame.

We do not promise service of specific ingredients.

We may not accommodate any dietary requests or needs given same-day notice.

Our menu is subject to change on a momentary basis.

 Cancellations and Modifications

As stated as part of our reservation process on Tock as well as in your confirmation email, all reservation deposits are final and non-refundable.

In the event you would like to cancel, reschedule, or modify your reservation, please contact us at info@ssalsf.com as far in advance of the reservation as possible.

  • Any cancellation requests or no-shows will not have the deposit refunded.

  • If any members of your party do not attend the dinner the deposit for their seat will not be applied to your bill.

  • If you would like to reschedule your reservation or change your party size please contact us at least 48 hours before the reservation time. Any requests made within 48 hours of the reservation may not be accommodated.

 

Parking and Late Arrivals

We respectfully ask that you honor the timing of your reservation. We are a small restaurant with limited ability to accommodate guests who arrive early or late for their reservation.

If you plan on driving, we suggest allowing yourself up to 30 minutes to find a space and walk to the restaurant. Our neighborhood has limited street parking, and there are no nearby parking garages.

  

Children

Please do not bring infants into our dining room. We have raised our own infant, which is why we know our restaurant is not an appropriate place to care for such little ones.

If you would like to bring a toddler or child to our restaurant we ask that they participate in the full tasting menu. Please understand that all toddlers and children require a reservation to sit in our dining room.

Large Parties

Reservations for 1-5 guests can be made using the public system, while parties of 6 or more need a private link, available by emailing info@ssalsf.com.

  • Parties of 6 will be seated at one table but will not receive full service.

  • Groups of 7 or 8 will be seated at two separate tables and served separately, without mingling.

  • Parties of 9 or more require a private event contract.

  • Large party reservations are only confirmed once menus are paid for in full.

  • Cancellations 72+ hours in advance receive a 50% refund; no refunds for cancellations or no-shows within 72 hours.

  • Rescheduling is not allowed, and changes in party size within 48 hours may be treated as a cancellation.
